Multimodal transport

Using each transport mode only where it is most efficient, DONAU TRANSIT Ltd provides optimal and complex transport solutions from the initial place of loading to the final destination. Where possible, waterborne transport is involved in the multimodal routes to reduce the total amount of freight and harmful emissions.

For payments through Letter of Credit requiring a single shipping document covering multiple transport modes, a Negotiable FIATA Multimodal Transport Bill of Lading (FBL) or a FIATA Forwarders Certificate of Transport (FCT) can be issued upon shipper's request.
